Founded in 1998, Shenzhen Keanda Electronic Technology Corp., Ltd is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production and sales of rail transit products. It has been rated by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as the first batch of “Little Giant” enterprises featuring in specialization, sophistication, product differentiation, and innovation, as well as the demonstration single champion enterprises in manufacturing industry. Keanda mainly provides products, services and system solutions of rail transit industry. At present, products of Keanda mainly include rail transit signal axle counting system, railroad station integrated lightning protection system, signal monitoring lightning protection wiring cabinet, point heating system, as well as other products and relevant solutions. In addition, Keanda also provides customers in the field of rail transit with services of project construction and system integration.
So far, Keanda has 134 patents,There are 53 invention patents, 71 utility model patents and 10 design patents. 52 software copyright certificates, accumulating profound technical knowledge in the field of rail transit signal control and lightning protection. After years of development, Keanda has become the most influential company in the field of rail transit signal control and lightning protection, and participated in, as one of the key drafting units, the drafting of railway industry standard document TB/T 3233-2010 “Measurement Method of Railway Integrated Grounding System”.
The lightning protection wiring cabinet researched and developed by Keanda was awarded the Third Prize of the Railway Science and Technology Award by China’s Ministry of Railway. The product has been widely used in the construction of China’s urban railway transportation. Keanda has completed over 5000 railway station lightning protection projects, with some such as the projects for Wuhan–Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, Chengdu North Numbering Station, Wuhan North Compilation Station, Guangzhou South Railway Station and Qinghai-Tibet Railway becoming the examples for the industry.
The TAZ II Axle Counting System developed by Keanda has been widely used in railway construction and urban rail transit across China. The system has SIL4 certification -- the highest level of certification for safety, and was adopted by lots of metro lines in China, including Shenzhen Metro line 2, 5, 6,7, 8, 9, 10, 11; Wuhan Metro line 2, 4; Beijing Metro line 1, 14, 16; Nanjing Ningtian Intercity rail transit; Hangzhou Metro line 4; Dalian Metro line 1; Nanning Metro line 1; and Changsha Metro line 1. Over 190 metro lines in nearly 50 cities in China are using the system, bringing Keanda to the leading position of the industry in terms of market share and laying foundation for Keanda’s development in urban rail transit industry.
